Saving put aside monthly. Wahed returns are 5-year annualised after fees, as of 12 Oct 2026.
Annual income = monthly × 12. Taxable income = annual income minus personal relief (RM9,000 in 2026, RM12,000 in 2027). Tax is worked out layer by layer using the resident rates; 2027 taxes RM70,001–100,000 at 18% and RM100,001–150,000 at 24%, and the 30% rate starts at RM1 million. A RM400 rebate applies when taxable income is RM35,000 or less.
Projections assume your yearly saving is put aside monthly and compounded monthly at a fixed rate: 2.2% for the bank, or the Wahed portfolio's 5-year annualised return after fees. Returns vary and investments can go down as well as up. Past performance does not guarantee future results.
This calculator is an illustration only and is not tax advice. It applies only the personal relief and the resident individual tax rates; your actual tax will be lower once EPF and other reliefs are claimed. Budget 2027 measures are proposals and take effect from YA 2027, subject to the Finance Bill being passed. Source: Budget 2027 Speech, Dewan Rakyat, 9 October 2026, para 29 to 30.
