How do I open an ESA?

If you already have a Wahed account, ESA can be added from the app without redoing verification. If you are new, complete the standard sign-up and identity verification first.

Then:

1. Select the Everyday Shariah Account in the app.
2. Fund it with at least the activation minimum.
3. Wait for the deposit to clear — it will show as cash first, then move into the underlying holding.

You can hold ESA alongside Robo portfolios. Many people do exactly that: ESA for the emergency fund, a Robo portfolio for long-term goals.
