Rental distributions are paid periodically during the holding period, into the bank account registered on your Wahed profile. They are paid out rather than reinvested.
Three things to set expectations:
- The first payout is not immediate. The property needs to be tenanted and a full distribution period completed before the first distribution.
- Amounts vary. Distributions are based on net rental after costs, so they are not a fixed sum each period.
- Your bank details must be complete before a distribution is due, otherwise the payment cannot be made.
Distribution timing and frequency for each deal are set out in its offering documents.
