The essence of Sukuk is to provide ethically compliant instruments for investments that do not involve interest and excess uncertainty. It is a primacy of equity financing. The Sukuk holder owns the underlying asset and is entitled to revenues generated from it, unlike the bondholder, who is eligible to receive interest payments from the bond issuer. The sukuk limits the value of debt to that of the underlying. It must be asset-backed or asset-based and interest-free.
Shariah-Compliant Fixed Income Funds offer a diverse selection of investment options, including Shariah-compliant instruments like Sukuk bonds, Ijarah, and Murabaha, providing competitive returns and liquidity.
