Shariah Governance Disclaimer - SRB
Shariyah Review Bureau ("SRB") is an independent global Sharia assurance firm that has been serving clients worldwide since 2004. With scholars from more than 20 countries from GCC, Asia, Europe and Africa, it serves capital market institutions, banks, insurance companies, fintech platforms, and funds across multiple jurisdictions.
SRB acts as the independent Sharia advisor to Wahed solely in respect of Wahed's own Sharia compliant portfolios and products in accordance with the agreed scope of engagement between the parties. SRB's role is limited to the Sharia supervision, certification, and periodic Sharia audit of such Wahed-specific activities.
SRB does not provide Sharia approval, certification, or supervision for any third-party funds, investment vehicles, or products that may be offered, referenced, or made accessible through Wahed and that are subject to separate and independent Sharia governance arrangements, including their own Sharia boards or Sharia audit frameworks. Where a third-party product or fund has obtained Sharia certification from an external Sharia advisory firm, all Sharia compliance representations, opinions, and related responsibilities rest solely with the relevant certifying entity.
Accordingly, SRB bears no responsibility or liability, whether express or implied, for the Sharia compliance, structure, performance, ongoing monitoring, or investment outcomes of any third-party funds or products. Any reference on this website to SRB's Sharia supervision applies exclusively to Wahed's proprietary Sharia-compliant activities and should not be construed as extending to any third-party offerings.
