Exposure to Shariah-compliant international (non-US) equities across developed and emerging markets

Shariah-compliant stocks are stocks that have characteristics consistent with Islamic finance principles as interpreted by subject-matter experts. An additional layer of ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) screening is also taken into account when constructing the fund. Environmental criteria considers how a company performs as a steward of nature. Social criteria examine how it manages relationships with employees, suppliers, customers, and the communities where it operates. Governance deals with a company’s leadership, executive pay, audits, internal controls, and shareholder rights.
