Am I personally liable for debts or obligations of the investment?

No. Wahed Real Estate investments are structured using limited liability entities, meaning investors are generally not personally responsible for the debts, liabilities or obligations of the underlying properties or the Fund beyond the amount they have invested.

In addition, Wahed Real Estate investments are structured to be Shariah-compliant and do not use conventional debt or leverage. Properties are acquired using all cash (100% equity) structures, which helps limit exposure to financing related obligations.

As with any investment, investors may still be exposed to losses up to their invested capital, but they are not personally liable beyond that amount under normal circumstances.
