What are the investment limits for accredited and non-accredited investors?

Accredited investors

Accredited investors can invest in Wahed Real Estate Fund without regulatory limits, as defined under SEC rules. You may still be subject to transfer or payment limits set by our payment provider.

Non‑accredited investors

Non‑accredited investors can also invest, but Regulation A requires that your total investment across all Reg A offerings does not exceed 10% of your annual income or 10% of your net worth, whichever is higher.

During onboarding, the app automatically calculates your personal annual limit based on the income and net worth information you provide. These limits are reset each year.

Platform‑wide payment limits

Regardless of accreditation status, all investors are subject to platform‑wide limits set by Wahed’s payment provider.

  • Maximum investment amount: $20,000 per transaction
  • Weekly cap: $20,000 total across all Wahed Real Estate investments

If you are a non‑accredited investor, your Reg A income/net‑worth limit still applies.

  • If your Reg A limit is below $20,000, your Reg A limit applies.
  • If your Reg A limit is above $20,000, then the platform limits apply (i.e., $20,000 per transaction and per week).

These limits are enforced automatically within the app.
