The Wahed Real Estate Fund aims to generate returns in two ways.
1) Rental income
The Fund collects rent from a diversified pool of residential properties and distributes available income to investors on a quarterly basis. These distributions reflect the net rental income after property‑level and Fund‑level expenses.
2) Property appreciation
As property values change over time, this is reflected in the Fund’s Net Asset Value (NAV). Any appreciation contributes to the Fund’s overall return and may be realized when investors redeem their interests, subject to the Fund’s redemption terms.
The Fund targets 5–7% annual net ROI, including both income and appreciation, and aims for a net yield above 5% from rental distributions. These are targets, not guarantees, and actual performance will depend on market conditions, occupancy, operating costs, and other factors.
