First Funding Reward Program Terms and Conditions
**Effective Date:** Wednesday, Sept 23, 2026
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern the Wahed First Funding Reward Program (the "Program"). By participating in the Program, you ("Client") agree to be bound by these Terms, which supplement the agreement governing your Wahed account (the “Client Agreement”) and any other agreements governing your Wahed account.
1. Program Overview
The Program gives certain eligible Clients who have completed Wahed's identity verification process, but have not yet funded their Wahed account, an opportunity to receive a one-time cash reward of $25, $50, $75, or $100 (the "Reward") after making a qualifying first deposit of $100.
The Program is available only to 200 clients selected at random by Wahed to participate - who passed KYC in the last 30 days but have not funded their account as of Wednesday, September 23, 2026. The amount of the Reward offered to you will be stated in an email or other communication sent directly to you by Wahed (the "Invitation").
2. Campaign Period
The Program begins on Sept 24,2026 at 12:00 a.m. Eastern Time and ends on Oct 8 at 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time (the "Campaign Period"). A qualifying deposit must be initiated and completed during the Campaign Period, unless the Invitation expressly states otherwise.
3. Eligibility
To be eligible for the Program, a Client must:
- Receive an Invitation directly from Wahed;
- Have an active Wahed account that has passed all required identity verification and know-your-customer (KYC) checks before the end of the Program;
- Not have previously funded any Wahed account before the start of the Campaign Period [and have had an unfunded, KYC-approved account for no more than 30 days when selected for the Program];
- Make a first deposit of at least [minimum qualifying deposit] into your Wahed account during the Campaign Period (the "Qualifying Deposit");
- Keep the value of the Qualifying Deposit in the eligible account for at least 45 days without making any withdrawals or outbound transfers, subject to market fluctuations in the value of invested assets; and
- Remain in good standing and comply with these Terms, the Client Agreement, and Wahed's other applicable policies.
Participation is limited to the intended recipient of the Invitation. Forwarded, copied, transferred, publicly distributed, or otherwise shared Invitations do not create eligibility.
4. Qualifying Deposits
The Qualifying Deposit must consist of new funds transferred from an external source and not previously held in any Wahed account. Internal transfers between Wahed accounts, promotional credits, rewards, reversed or returned transfers, chargebacks, and unsuccessful or cancelled deposits do not qualify.
If Wahed cannot accept or clear the deposit, or if the deposit is withdrawn, reversed, or otherwise removed before the applicable holding period ends, the Client will not qualify for the Reward.
5. Reward
An eligible Client who satisfies all Program requirements will receive the one-time Reward amount specified in the Client's Invitation: $25, $50, $75, or $100. The Reward amount is determined by Wahed in its sole discretion and is not selected by the Client. A Client may receive only one Reward under the Program, regardless of the number or type of Wahed accounts the Client holds.
The Reward will only become earned and be credited after completion of the 45-day holding period and verification of all eligibility requirements. Once validly credited, the Reward belongs to the Client. Once credited, the Reward may be invested in accordance with the Client's portfolio selection and will be subject to market gains or losses. No interest will accrue on a pending Reward.
6. Eligible Accounts and Product Restrictions
The Program is limited to [eligible Wahed account type(s) and product(s)]. The Reward cannot be paid to an account that is closed, restricted, suspended, or otherwise unable to receive the Reward at the time of payment. [If the Client does not have an eligible account when payment is due for reasons attributable to the Client, the Reward will be forfeited.]
7. Fees and Investment Risk
Normal account, advisory, and other applicable fees continue to apply. The Reward does not waive or reimburse any fee unless Wahed expressly states otherwise. The Reward is a promotional incentive intended to encourage you to fund your Wahed account; it does not constitute investment advice or a recommendation to invest. Investing involves risk, including possible loss of principal. The value of investments purchased with the Qualifying Deposit or Reward may increase or decrease.
8. Tax Implications
The Reward may be considered taxable income. Wahed does not provide tax advice. Clients are responsible for any tax consequences associated with receiving the Reward and should consult a qualified tax professional. Wahed may issue Form 1099-MISC or other applicable tax reporting documentation where required.
9. General Provisions
- Verification: Wahed may review account and transaction activity and request additional information to confirm eligibility before paying a Reward.
- Abuse or fraud: Wahed may withhold, cancel, or recover a Reward if it reasonably determines that a Client engaged in fraud, abuse, manipulation, duplicate-account activity, or conduct intended to circumvent these Terms. By participating in the Program, the Client consents to Wahed deducting any such amount from the Client’s Wahed account(s) to the extent permitted by applicable law.
- Non-transferable: The Program and Reward are personal to the invited Client, have no cash alternative before being credited, and may not be sold, assigned, or transferred.
- Other promotions: The Program cannot be combined with another promotional offer unless Wahed expressly permits it in writing.
- Changes or termination: Wahed reserves the right to change, suspend, or terminate the Program at any time, subject to applicable law. Any Reward already earned before such a change, suspension, or termination will be honored in accordance with these Terms.
- Limitation of liability: To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Wahed will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of or related to the Program, including delays in crediting a Reward, technical errors, or Program unavailability.
- Decisions: To the extent permitted by law, Wahed's good-faith decisions concerning eligibility and administration of the Program are final.
- Conflict: If these Terms conflict with the Invitation, these Terms will control, except that the Invitation will control the Client's assigned Reward amount and any Client-specific qualifying deposit requirement expressly stated in the Invitation.
- Governing Law: These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles, and are subject to the dispute-resolution provisions of the Client Agreement.
